Leaning heavily into the use of line and textures, I hope to be guided from apathy. To remove myself from that lack of interest, show more concern. Think of anything outside of myself. A lot of rage and sadness comes with the hue of blue and line-work used. As if it reaches out for help in these darker moments, for someone to care at least a little bit. Donated to the Pakistan and Puerto Rico Charity Collective, this piece is meant to immediately grab attention. “guide me from apathy” looks to highlight the lack of concern or interest most have when it comes to world issues that don’t necessarily affect them directly at that moment. It’s easy to turn a blind eye, if the problem isn’t right in front of you.
