Description

This is my contribution to the 'Archipelago/Islands' project, to which I had the pleasure of being involved with Oficinas TK and ilan katin. From a large ammount of CSV data extracted from the 'Kerbal Space Program' videogame, Oficinas TK plotted some maps and from those maps, he selected three areas with aesthetic interest and reduced them to a simple two colour, four tone grid; each of the participants choose one and elaborated from there. From this data I've challenged myself to reproduce as better as I can a portion of this map. Handmade process, rubber stamps with ink on paper, digitized. I've personally produced the stamp, the system for this process and finally digitized it. From analog to digital, one more time. Manual antialiasing.
