Description

Suddenly, everything became digital. Suddenly, everything felt like plastic. Today, I’m living in a fully digitalized world. The project The Vicarivs Diaries aims to find an authentic form of self expression while our everyday life gets more and more technological. We all live, laugh and love online. Our digital twin expresses his emotions through a prefabricated palette of emojis. But how do these phenomena affect or maybe even change real human relations? What happens to a society if the vast amount of interpersonal communication takes place digitally? By adapting aesthetics of cheap graffiti with tools of digital painting applications i’m limiting myself to reduce an idea to it’s purest form. Perfection gets impossible and opens up a creative dialogue between me and my mobile device. Digital Painting on iPhone6. 2019.
