Description

The deep has no floor in the Obsidian Liturgy. It has only Olokun-Ade. Cast from dark chrome in the image of a god who was never mortal, this Enshrined Idol holds dominion over pressure and silence. The crown does not sit upon the head. It erupts from it: a solar spike array of radiant antennae, chrome rods catching frequencies from depths no signal was meant to reach. A PCB circuit blindfold seals the eyes. What sovereign of the ocean floor requires sight? It receives. It adjudicates. The crystal-encrusted trident is not a weapon. It is a verdict. Layered necklaces of consecrated alloy rest across the armored plates like sediment. Circuit boards are pressed into the vestment like scripture into stone. The braids are soldered, not woven. Teal oxidation blooms at every joint where seawater theology corrodes the chrome. Olokun-Ade does not speak. The ocean speaks through it.
