THE ECSTASY OF MAXIMALS

Description

The Feral tier claims few arbiters. Most sacred beasts preside over life, over hunting, over the green turning of seasons. Inpu-Duat presides over the count. A jackal of lacquered obsidian, consecrated to the passage between states. Not death itself. The adjudication of it. The amber eyes do not weep. They measure. Every soul that crosses the threshold of the Duat submits to that gaze, and the gaze does not forget. The usekh collar is the only ornament that matters. Lapis and ruby circuit-tiles set in gold filigree, anointed once and never again. It hums at the frequency of final breath. When Inpu-Duat opens its mouth, the dead remember what they owed.
