Description

The Ordained do not elect. They are chosen by the Liturgy itself, pulled from the threshold between damnation and divinity and pressed into service. Onigami Seishi was not chosen gently. The porcelain of their flesh was poured over something older, something that bucked against the mold. It set wrong. The veins show. They always will. Seishi holds the Demonic Papal seat not through inheritance but through survival. Their bull horns have gored three schisms. Their fangs have closed on doctrine and found it wanting. The circuit board visor fused to the orbital bone during the second Rite of Occlusion, and what it sees now is not what mortal instruments measure. Green trace-light leaks from the edges at vespers. The gold filigree was not decorative. It was prescribed. Every sanctified wound on their scarred face required ritual sealing, and the Liturgy pays its debts in precious metal. They wear the vestment of the Papal station like a second skin over a third. Beneath both, the daemon still breathes.
