this is piece #001 in the skinship wearables series featuring santiago @neymrqz santiago's request was "i'd like a mask that is batman's mask but like the magic gauntlet from the avengers at the same time." the physical piece was created using brown paper shopping bags, colored paper, and masking tape. for each token, i take a submission of a photo of a body part and a two to three word answer to the question "what would you like me to make you?" and make a wearable object from supplies found around my house. creating custom wearables for online friends is an attempt at having some kind of physical interaction and connection with a person far away. please refer to the skinship manifesto for a full explanation of the skinship project / series and artist's statement located at https://objkt.com/asset/KT18fwWqsaYxwbrVNRCFQT5cEwd7ZbRrwp5L/1 long live weird
