MY CHRISTMAS MESSAGE:
the tl;dr: happy Holidays, best wishes, I love you!
Dear precious friend, dear amazing collector, dear lovely hybrid of both,
here we are AGAIN, 12 months after the last Christmas card, and 29 months into my crazy NFT journey, and once again I am looking back with my heart full of gratitude.
Gratitude in a full blown bear market might sound crazy at first, but when I look back at this year, those folks who kept on trucking here with us never lost hope, and some of us achieved really amazing things!
Each and every one of us had the chance, if we so chose, to spruce up our portfolio, to try out web3 opportunities, to create for and participate in open calls, new opportunities, to take some more time creating and reflecting on our art.
I minted fewer pieces than I anticipated, but I am especially happy with everything that made it onto the blockchains ETH+Tez.
If you know me a bit longer, you know I mostly create for myself, as an emotional outlet, and only a small fraction of it actually gets minted.
This year, I even tried out AI a little bit.
My works will primarily always remain physical paintings on canvas, paper, or other mediums. I need a brush in my hand to let it all out, I need to smell and smear the paint, and I need to kick the whole thing off the easel if I am not happy with it - or if it woke something in me that I did not quite anticipate.
If you're curious about me and my real life, here is a short rundown:
I grew up a little farm, and in my first job, I had the good fortune to work and live abroad for 10 years in total. This led me to Austria, the UK, Dubai in the UAE, New Zealand, and -briefly- India. Plus other places across Europe, in the USA, and Scandinavia for vacation.
I always loved experiencing other languages and cultures (and food!) first hand. All this gave me immense inspiration for my paintings and drawings, but since I moved places so often, I did not have the chance to linger with a piece for longer... after a while, it vanished in some suitcase, and then it was forgotten.
Also, due to an unhealthy view on myself and my own abilities combined with severe self-doubt, I never assumed anyone would be interested. Until the blockchain came along. I took a plunge - and many of YOU caught me!!
There are some days where I feel like the luckiest person in NFTs because of that - just because YOU are taking the time interacting with me on Twitter, looking at my art, maybe even buying something.
This is my personal fuel, and I am sure most of you have something like that or similar, too.

What are my wishes for 2024?
Well, first of all, I wish you and all of us a lot of health and happiness!
Then, I want us to have fun - but not too much: beware of scammers! Use their Twitter with 2fa (via app), and use a Ledger - no excuses!
Then, I hope we all have more opportunities to express ourselves artistically, collect what we vibe with, cheer for our friends, have exhibition that helps getting our art seen, create value for our collectors, and may the crypto prices to go higher levels that might bring a bit of sunshine to so many hardworking artists - and some lamboyachts to those hotshots who took the risks and finally get rewarded.
Special shout-outs go to my collectors on Ethereum and on Tezos, my Twitter followers who truly interact with me, the Mojo family, the S.E.X Club (not what you think!!), the safe chatters, DarrenSRS & Frens, and those of you who are receiving this as their second ever NFT because they visited my first ever IRL exhibition this year (with catering, newspaper article, the whole nine yards) and followed my wallet creating instructions and got an IRL POAP into their new wallets and this as their second ever NFT - wohooo!!
