Kai was having a miserable day. He loved playing basketball. It was by far his favourite sport. He was desperate to get into the monster school basketball team. They had won the NBASGM (National Basketball Association for Small but Growing Monsters) for three years in a row and he so so wanted to hold up the cup as the teams' captain this year. Kai spent most afternoons practicing in his garden. He was very proud of himself and thought he could be the future monster world champion. Unfortunately, Kai was still quite a small monster and had to eat much more spinach to grow tall enough to reach the hoop. He woke up on the day of the team trials exceptionally nervous but sure he was going to be picked. However, Kai hadn't eaten any spinach for breakfast and didn't have enough energy to play. He was exceptionally miserable. Poor Kai. Can anyone take care of him and give him some spinach for breakfast?
