"Circling around the idea of acknowledging my wellness", 2023 A special collaboration between @cajabeats and @artcarolinabf (Xiphopagus III - Collaboration). –––– Mental health stages 5 - After an individual has taken the initiative to seek for help, whether by its own or encourages/assisted by loved ones, the symptoms will likely start to decrease. The mere acknowledge of the pain and the struggle being a very real, human, valid and justified thing to go through, not something out of this world, provides wellness. After some time receiving professional help, mild or very significant changes and improvements can be experienced. But, often times these improvements are easily missed by the individual's assessment of their own situation, falling into the self-sabotage idea that "everything is the same" or worst. Graphic memory and writing exercises can help come to the realization that some wellness is actually there. –––– @artcarolinabf, Carolina, is an autistic artist, a photographer and a writer from Brazil. @cajabeats, Farid, (b. 1988) is a self-taught artist based in Venezuela. His works are a combination of glitch techniques, physical paintings and AI outputs, resulting in abstract compositions frequently evoking sunsets, the moon and the ocean, as characters representing emotional states and dimensions.
