Through this work I present a poignant visual commentary on the presence of cliques and gatekeepers within society. The image depicts a door positioned partway up a wall, rendering it impossible to open. Symbolically, it represents the barriers and exclusivity that exist within social structures, where certain individuals are deemed more important or given privilege over others. I seek to shed light on the detrimental effects of such hierarchies and divisions. My aim is to encourage individuals to question and challenge the existing power dynamics and hierarchies that segregate society. 'Access Denied' serves as a visual call to action, urging viewers to resist the allure of conformity and to forge their own paths instead.
