Description

“Embrace the System” is the second piece in the For the People collection. This work reflects a hard truth: the systems built by global powers are often beyond our control. Resistance feels impossible, and what remains is a reluctant embrace — an acceptance born not from agreement, but from necessity. The looping motion of this artwork captures that feeling: being caught in a cycle you didn’t design, yet can’t escape. It’s a visual metaphor for surrender within the machinery of larger forces. But in the context of For the People, this surrender transforms into community power. Each sale of this piece fuels the purchase of NFT-People from the floor, which are then raffled back to collectors. It becomes a new system — one where art and community reinforce each other. This artwork is both a statement and an action: acknowledging the inevitability of global systems, while simultaneously building a smaller, self-sustaining one. To embrace the system is not to give up, but to reframe power into collective value.
