Description

In Goa, we live for fish as our staple food. It's very difficult for a typical Goan to live without fish for the 3 months of monsoon, when the fishing is officially banned due to the heavy rainfall we get here. We still try to find some options for that, one is we survive on dry fish being stacked for the season and another being trying to find small fresh fish around local waterbodies. This photograph of a local fisherman using a net to catch the fish during the monsoon, is a part of a photo feature I had done for a fishing story during my working as a photojournalist. I feel we all struggle in our daily life for our survival throughout our life. This edition is dedicated to all the lovely people out there. ------------ Photographer : Veepul Rege Twitter : @https://twitter.com/veepulrege License : Primary NFT holder is free to use in advertising, display privately and in groups, including virtual galleries, documentaries and essays by holder of the NFT, as long as creator is credited.
