Considering the rich and privileged history and civilization of this city, it is not surprising that this country is considered as one of the world's tourist destinations. Also, this city has many attractions from four directions: north, south, east and west Westminster Westminster Westminster, in addition to being able to attract many tourist attractions, is also considered as the political pole of this city, which is the reason for the presence of the British Parliament in this palace. Since the Big Ben clock tower is located in the northern part of the British Parliament House, it is considered one of the other attractions of Westminster; But this clock has been off for 4 years for conservation work. Big Bang Big Ben When the city of London is mentioned, many people think of the famous Big Bang clock. If you have watched the BBC network, you must have heard the sound of the Big Bang Clock that plays when the BBC starts. As we mentioned, the Big Bang Clock is located on the east side of the British Parliament in Westminster, where you can visit two London tourist attractions. The Thames is a river in the south of England, 346 kilometers long, which is mostly famous for passing through the city of London. This river passes through the cities of Oxford, Reading and Windsor and finally flows into the North Sea. This river was the main highway between London and Westminster in the 17th and 18th centuries. Before 1814, during the Little Ice Age, this river was frozen many times in the winter, but after that, due to the warming of the air, it never froze completely. In 1825, following the construction of the London Bridge, due to the fewer foundations of the new bridge, the water flow in this river has become faster and has prevented the water from freezing even more. In the 18th century, following the transformation of London into an important economic center of the British Empire, this river has been one of the busiest waterways in the world.
