The Failed Artist LVIII (self portrait): The time I discovered the magical tezos tree and brought perdition upon myself.

Description

It was a pleasant moonlit night so I decided to dine al fresco, as is my wont, at my usual spot in the park there was a strange sprouting of mushrooms and a peculiar abundance of four leafed clovers, an auspicious start to the evening I thought to myself as I began my humble supper which I was sharing this evening with a little dog who'd become my constant companion after I furnished him with a string of sausages. I used some of the mushrooms as a garnish for my sandwich and rather tasty they were too, combining nicely with the mustard I always use as a condiment, however, after a short while I started to feel a little odd and that's when I noticed a little tree growing nearby which I had hitherto failed to notice, going closer I realized this was not an ordinary tree as it was bearing a fruit I'd never seen before and going closer still I beheld a shiny new tezos piece growing upon the little shrub. As I reached out to take the glittering treasure I found myself suddenly transported to another dimension where I underwent a series of trials and torments and met innumerable entities - a lot went on in this other world and I won't bore you with the details, suffice to say it felt as if I were in that unspeakable place for eternity and everything seemed to revolve around whether or not I was going to pluck that little coin from that bush. I have tried to depict in my painting a glimpse of that place for you, the viewer, alas I am not competent to illustrate properly the world I visited on that fateful night.
