The great thing about being a baby - everyday is a vacation. The not so great thing about being a baby - you can't remember your never ending vacation as an adult! This picture was taken on the shores of Balos Beach, a remote lagoon on the Greek island of Crete that I visited with my son when he was 6-months old. We came to this beach by road & for the last part had to hike down a rocky, dusty path before being able to dip our toes in the water. Little Bubba enjoyed every little second of his visit to this natural haven. And in the early hours of the morning we almost had the whole place to ourselves.
