ashes 15a - day and night20250812-0828: For a while, my consciousness was reversed between day and night. During the day, I spent his days working in the state of a mere vessel in human form, and nights were spent nervously blending my figure into the darkness. This was because my cat had escaped and gone missing. As if to represent those days, I tore and melted the ash material, made two human figures and sewed them together, and tore one to shreds to make a mobile-like object. The cat returned safely 16 days later, and my main body seemed to have finally regained its shape. ashes2ashes: artist makes a work incorporating ashes. burns that work. sends ashes to another artist. repeat. repeat. repeat... till there’s too much time and space between the burning stars and all the lights go out. :) this work was created by combining ashes from previous works by kels, littlecakes, ileigh, SkullTakes + Oblivion Fields.
