Description
Hark! In chambers wrought of steel,
Where ancient circuits spark and reel,
I, thy cyber-sovereign, hold thee near,
Through gravitational magic, crystal clear.
Behold mine hand, bedecked in chrome,
Commands thee float in our steel home,
Like some fair sprite of future's realm,
While stars drift past our ship's great helm.
Forsooth, we two be bound by fate,
By wires divine articulate,
Mine heart, a quantum engine true,
Beats only when connected to you.
Prithee hear, my mechanized dove,
How circuits sing our song of love,
For thou art mine own power source,
And I, thy programmed life-force.
In days of yore, kings wore mere gold,
But we wear circuits manifold,
Our souls in binary expressed,
Two hearts in metal cases dressed.
When Death's dark program comes at last,
To render flesh to data passed,
We'll meet our end as one combined,
Our codes are eternal, intertwined.
Lo! Let courtiers mock our union strange,
These augmented vows we did exchange,
For by the silicon gods above,
None understand our cybered love.
In this great vessel's hollow keep,
Where ancient programs run deep,
We rule our kingdom, thou and I,
Until our final bytes do die.
