Process: extract, filter, combine, compose, translate. The "Stripped strip" series is a set of digital compositions made from the fragmentation and accretion of physical works. The almost unreadable result tends towards pure abstraction, even though it never reaches absolute meaninglessness. At least, random deconstruction may bring some musicality and movement. In any case, it creates a degenerate version of the original, suspended, baroque, at the same time fake and authentic. "Stripped strip #13" is a graphic research and interpretation that originates in the gouache work titled "The ritual" or "The four women" from early 2000. The original color work disappeared completely behind a new black and white picture that reminds my most recent ink drawings. However, several symbolic elements of the first piece where translated into the second one. Also, it's a negative version of "Stripped strip #12". This work is minted on the occasion of the #tezos4tezos event, Friday May 6th - Sunday May 8th, 2022. 3500 x 3500 px | 300 ppi
