Description

“A furtive tear appeared in her eyes As those joyful young ladies seemed to envy me What more am I seeking? What more am I seeking? She loves me, yes, I can see itI can see it! For just one moment I could feel the beating of her beautiful heart My sighs blending with hers” Opera as fine art ~ how many patrons of the arts throughout humanity’s cultural history would have loved to acquire and own Opera as Fine Art? Discovering the story of Una Furtiva Lagrima (a furtive tear) through an AI cinematic Renaissance reimagining of Los Angeles as Rome. Our protagonist melancholy at his love apathy give her a potion which awakens her passions for him and they break from their cold marble apathy into a life filled with romance and excitement. Vittorio’s voice singing this exceptional rendition of a classic weaving beautiful expressions of high emotion through these visions of a lost world and side by side with my spoken word reading of the English translation ~ brought a new found inspiration to my process.
