The Magic of Music
Year 2013 Beyoğlu Istiklal Street remained a good memory from a pleasant day 10 years ago. It is one of the first places that local and foreign tourists and people living in Istanbul want to visit. It is one of the indispensable places in summer and winter with its historical texture, shopping venues, cafes, nostalgic trams, carts selling bagels, chestnuts and corn. In November 2013, this old uncle caught my attention while I was taking a photo with my camera among the crowded and colorful images. He was one of the indispensable names of Istiklal Street. He was playing beautiful tunes on his saxophone and at the end of this beautiful music concert, the audience was giving the old man a coin. This is how the old man made a living. Just then, the little girl came with her family, the man playing the saxophone caught the little girl's attention, the little girl was very happy with the music she heard. In response, the little listener handed the old man his money, the old man was very happy, the little girl felt the power and magic of music at this age. The old man kissed and loved the little girl, I was very happy that I did not miss this special and emotional moment, this photo became one of my unforgettable photos for me. Is the old man still alive? If he is alive, I hope he still shares his magical music with his audience.

Photographer Bio: I graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of Photography and Videography. I started photography in 2012.
I became a member of IFSAK in 2013.
I received the title of Afiap in 2015.
I mainly like to take street photography, people, documentaries and black and white photos.
I have received many awards and exhibitions in national and international competitions.
I have given personal photo interviews and demonstrations in associations, various photography societies and in many cities.
My photographs took part in many group exhibitions held on national and international platforms.
I was a member of the jury.
My photo was featured in the team representing Turkey in Korea at the FIAP 33rd Black and White Biennial held in 2017, and I won the Bronze medal on behalf of my country.
He was among the names representing Turkey in the 9th FIAP World Cup.
In 2016, I became one of the ten photographers representing my country on behalf of TFSF in the 33rd FIAP Black and White Biennial Turkey Team Elections of AFAD and won a "Bronze" medal for my country.
In 2016, I won the "HONORABLE MENTION" award among 45,000 photographs in the "Free black and white" category at the SIENA International Photography Awards.
I became one of the first photographers to win a trophy in the "SEYİT ALİ AK" project competition held in 2017.
“HAMDAN BIN MOHAMMED BIN RASHID AL MATOUM INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPH AWARD” I was a finalist in the "Color category" in 2017, and in the "Portfolio" category in 2018 and 2019.
I became one of the first winners of the "YURDAGÜL ÖZSAVAŞÇI" cup held in 2018.
