Mehsa Amini's death after being arrested by the moral police in Tehran sparked a wave of protests in major cities of the country. The protests, which were violently suppressed, resulted in the deaths of at least 50 people. This movement has gained strength and has now gone beyond the borders of Iran. Thousands of people around the world gathered in the streets to express their anger and show their support for Iranian women. In the face of this brutal crackdown, anger continues to rise in the street, but not alone. On social media, portraits of slain demonstrators circulate while the regime gradually disconnects the country's internet connection. In a symbolic protest, Iranian women cut their hair in front of the camera and published it on social networks. This is especially true of three young women in their twenties who cut their hair in public, like the Iranians. Some Iranian women also set fire to their tents. The uprising of the Iranian people is for seeking rights, and this time its leaders are brave Iranian women.
