Description
After eons of darkness I finally found the second door. The red door. Where does it lead, wilted wanderer? I had no idea. I took a few tentative steps inside the second door. A loud scream echoed through the halls. I followed the scream. I stepped through the glowing red door. After only a door I will finally be free. Finally I can return to the world where I can feel safe. I stepped out into a large chamber, far larger than the living room, and everything was in ruins. No longer could I see anything beyond the walls. In the middle of the room was a mangled, dismembered corpse with a large gash on its forehead. A large trail of blood led to the back of the room. My flashlight beam fell upon an army of skeletal hands. My torch extinguished. I had entered a crypt. But not just any crypt, the top of a mausoleum. Here, we begin my tale. As the story begins, I believe the first thing you should know is that I am not sure who I am . At the time of writing, I am 27, but I am not sure about my true age. At the time of my entrance to this place, I was 20 years old. I am unsure if it is a prison, a prison of some sort, or if the world is slowly dying. I will say, when I left, I felt like I could have been right, that I could have been right. This world is changing, decaying.
When I first entered the crypt, I was terrified, I did not want to go in. I still did not know why. I wandered around the place for hours. After a while, I went into the final room. This room had a small square pit in the center of it, and another room connected to the pit. There were two statues in the room, of an evil looking warrior and a kneeling sorcerer. I went to the first room and took my sword, and turned to face the statues. Then it happened, they moved! The warrior moved its sword into my chest. The sorcerer, with one hand, picked up my legs and began smashing my arms to the ground. I started screaming and my heart started beating faster. I could not take it. I ran out of the room, into the first room, and realized what I had done. I dropped to my knees, crying. I did not want to be here anymore. I remembered that when I had gone to the living room I had heard a strange noise. I sat down and listen to what was going on. It sounded like a woman, screaming, "no!" repeatedly. I did not want to hear the screams. I heard the door opening, and the sword from the statues striking the floor. I still did not want to hear it. When I woke up, I was curled up in a ball, but there were other people here. Someone took me to a nearby room and I have been here ever since. It is time to leave, time to go thru the RED DOOR.
....i went thru the door... the things i saw, they followed me from my nightmares...i hear the chanting and screams...they laugh like this is a game...it is not, it is a nightmare...
