This work is the digital crystallization of a monumental physical installation. It represents Page 41: Phase 13: Magnitudo of the "Alchemical Drawing Course." The object captured here is a reinterpretation of the Borghese Ares in the Louvre. The collector acquires not only an image, but the alchemical binder: the layer of digital painting and animation that unites the clay sculpture (telluric matter) and the oil paint (chromatic soul). The visible cracks and broken fragments bear witness to the actual thermal stresses the material underwent during outdoor drying. This work bridges the 19th-century drawing course of Charles Bargue and 21st-century generative/kinetic art. It foreshadows the final assemblage of a collection aiming to merge the tangible and the virtual.
