Secret Lives of Vulcans 092 - Chauv is chagrined at the absence of his desired Indomie comfort food Chauv had a rough day. He began his morning by sleeping through the rest cycle termination alert, which caused him to miss his transport to Star Fleet. Because he was late, he got assigned to the least desirable of all security routines: escorting the spoiled daughter of a traveling diplomat around the local luxury shopping boutiques. His misfortune was further complicated as a "smash and grab" occurred at the very boutique she has chosen. Weapons were drawn, fired, and both injuries and fatalities ensued. One would have thought that the diplomat's daughter would have been grateful that Chauv had protected her so thoroughly: she had been unscathed except for a broken fingernail. Not so. She immediately filed a formal complaint against his ineptitude after which he was replaced and reprimanded by his superior officer. "At least," he thought, "I can look forward to a bowl of piping hot Indomie when I get home." Alas, upon arriving home, he opened up the cupboard only to discover that his roommate had slurped down the last package of Indomie earlier that day. It had not been a good day.
