Description

"to our existence, to our understanding of the universe" is part of Micropoetry, a series of redacted micropoems and their micrographs. The micropoems were composed by scraping fragments of microfilm, leaving a found poem about Christian Bök’s The Xenotext (Book 2). These fragments were then mounted on a glass slide and photographed through the lens of a microscope. The resulting micrographs glow like exomoons, mirroring The Xenotext in its mediation of the cosmic and the microscopic. Each micropoem NFT is unique and comes with the corresponding physical slide and a printed postcard of the micrograph. This series was specially created to celebrate Christian Bök’s The Xenotext (Book 2).
