Description

I was watching Adrian Pocobelli's Artist Journal (episode 462) on YouTube and he was showing artwork titled "weird.gif" "by Agniis (in the collection of Absurdeity at the time of writing) and it suddenly occured to me that I could make work as dense as this with all the animations I'd been making. "weird.gif" is a colleciton of many may gifs all packed into a single artwork. I'd seen similar works before, but I hadn't thought about applying similar kind of density in my work, but this piece inspired me to do just that. I had been making animations almost daily on Rodeo, so I had plenty of material. I think I had 5 or 6 animations from just this past week and I chose 4 of them. Just combining them in the same space seemed to make all kinds of surprise accidents. I initially tried a similar technique with the soundtrack, combining sounds from each animation and playing parts in succession. That didn't seem to work as well, so I used a new track instead. I think I was kind of lost about what to do with this collection with making collages from collages which looked quite the same as other collages I made, but this is clearly something different and new, so it's a lot of work, but maybe it's worth pursuing on a weekly basis. 1080 × 1080 px 30 FPS 00:15 Animation Made in Adobe Animate Soundtrack made in Suno
