YAKUZA GEISHA やくざ芸者 This series of art started with an idea to create a small gallery of the Japanese tattooed geisha culture and every picture curated with love and respect to the Japanese culture. The Yakuza tattooed Geisha are a group of women who have been initiated into the gang as part of its initiation process. I wanted to make it an interactive experience where people could learn about this culture and see how tattoos are used in their society and show how these tattoos are different from Western tattoos. 1:1 - The Innocent
