Description

An analog-digital artwork, also using fragments of AI outputs. The process unfolds by integrating the effect of color bleed-through on paper, making shapes, colors and new possible associations emerge on the other side. The artwork emerges through multiple cycles on each side, elements materializing through color and marks seeping through. In the end the two sides are digitally brought into a mirrored composition, with more digital collage, drawing and integration of new elements. This artwork is about the journey of creative withdrawal—a delicate dance and balance between solitude/ introspection and external inspiration. Amidst this interplay, creation unfolds, born from the integration of diverse inspirations derived from people, places, and the world we inhabit. The two main figures represent the aspects of one's inner self engaged in conversation and contemplation, having stepped out of their social self and inhabiting an inner space beyond language. The world, people, relationships and engagements are still present and interwoven with the inner being, but from time to time it is necessary to step into a silent space to view everything more clearly. ABOUT HYBRID MYTHOLOGIES A journey merging different mythologies, symbolic systems and archetypes from different cultures with intuitive creativity. This ongoing project weaves a playful hybrid world, blending expressive languages and storytelling modalities and reflecting on the essence of and universality of expressing human narratives and myths of self and the collective through art. Hybrid Mythologies is a tapestry of interconnected tales, imaginary and beyond imaginary landscapes and serendipitous symbolic intersections.
