Description

'Tupi or not Tupi, that is the question.' --- This piece is a reinterpretation of the artwork 'Abaporu' (1928) by Brazilian artist Tarsila do Amaral. Abaporu became a symbol of the avant-garde movement known as Anthropophagy, whose manifesto was written by Oswald de Andrade, Tarsila’s husband, inspired by this work. --- This reinterpretation is a collaboration between Chamaland and Lucasoxx. Illustration + animation + video synthesis using VSynth.
