Venice Biennale, 2024. In Act 1 of a collaborative, live performance piece devised by three of the most prominent forces in contemporary art, Snoop Dogg and Cozomo de’ Medici transcend human norms and vie for the choice cuts of diewiththemostlikes’ head. Ultimately all but the skull is consumed. Having long since embraced the inevitable decline and failure of their physical bodies, in this pivotal moment, they generously commit great efforts toward furthering the NFT art movement with this work. The artists realize the gravity of the piece, but all insist that The Feast is the crowning achievement of their creative lives. In short, they do this for their pleasure. They do it for happiness.
