Description

tireless wanderer, forgotten prophet. ___ Fragment of 'La Leyenda del Lucero', a homemade family cinematographic production filmed in 16mm in the surroundings of San Martín de los Andes in 1963. The original script was written by Ernesto Biongovani, a family friend. The leading role was portrayed by Ana María Bornaz, and the cinematographer was my grandfather. About the story: the old man is a living symbol of time itself. He is more than a passive observer—he is a chronicler, existing not only with a purpose but also as a bridge between the past and the future, driven by an inner force he doesn’t fully understand. His connection to a young woman, whom he meets under mysterious circumstances, marks a transformative moment for both. His past is intricately tied to the fate of her mother and the destiny of the tribe, suggesting a deep, unspoken history that shapes the course of his journey. This material was recovered from the family archive, and the original version is lost. It was transferred from film to VHS, and later, it was digitized, adding music created with AI samples, self-recorded samples and virtual sound processors.
