Description

"Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said there "has to be consequences" after confirming Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham on Wednesday. Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly banned from participating in Manchester United’s training for the rest of the week. The veteran forward remained an unused sub in United’s crucial win over Tottenham on Wednesday. He stormed down the tunnel before the game’s final whistle, not participating in United’s celebration post-match. Amid widespread criticism from media personalities, Ronaldo returned to Man Utd’s training ground on Thursday morning. However, the club announced a few hours later that he won’t be a part of the squad for their upcoming clash against Chelsea on Saturday. The recent controversy will most likely bring Ronaldo closer to leaving Old Trafford. Following the last summer’s attempts to join a new club, the former Real Madrid superstar might push harder for a new transfer this January." 10/21/22 https://acefootball.com/football-news/ronaldo-banned-from-man-utd-training-after-tottenham-walkout/
