Description

"A coast-to-coast storm is bringing heavy snowfall, powerful winds, and other extreme weather across the US and parts of Canada. Other states in the south, meanwhile, are facing potential tornadoes and flash flooding. The storm could affect millions of residents in nearly every state in the contiguous US, experts said. The worst of the weather began on Monday night and is expected to continue into Tuesday and Wednesday, hitting the central and northern High Plains, a region of the US that includes eastern Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska, Mr Otto said. Texas, the south, was also hit by a series of storms that spawned at least two tornadoes in the northern part of the state, damaging homes and businesses and injuring two residents, according to authorities in Wise County, near Dallas. A tornado also formed in the neighbouring state of Oklahoma over the town of Wayne Tuesday morning, according to local news outlet KFOR." 12/13/22 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63952802
