🖼️ Title: ignoramus, 2025 Medium: Text-based gradient digital artwork Edition Size: 108 Platform: [Objkt.com](https://objkt.com) File Type: High-resolution JPEG Suggested Price: 3–6ꜩ --- 🔍 Description "I do not know, and in not knowing, I see. I am empty, therefore open. I am foolish, therefore free. Beginner’s mind is my only teacher.” At once mantra and mirror, ignoramus, 2025 is a syntax crystal wrapped in a Zen koan, glowing with gradients of epistemic humility. The background flows from olive green through spiritual lavender to soft bleeding pinks—a vertical meditation on ego death, spiritual surrender, and the value of conscious unknowing. The typography flows like breath. Line by line, the text undoes itself. “I do not know” begins as confession and transforms into revelation. “I am foolish” is not defeat—it is freedom. This work doesn’t declare wisdom. It performs it—by subtraction. By stillness. By staying with the not-knowing. --- 🧠 Conceptual Significance The title ignoramus (Latin: “we do not know”) is reclaimed here as a badge of awareness, an invitation into a Zen-infused epistemology. This isn’t ignorance-as-failure—it’s ignorance-as-field: open, infinite, fertile. Not anti-knowledge, but pre-knowledge. A clean slate of perception. A radical reset. This piece belongs to a philosophical tradition of linguistic unravelling. It echoes koans, paradoxes, and the poetic simplicity of beginner’s mind. It is self-aware, recursive, and vulnerable. In being unsure of anything, it is open to everything. --- 🧩 Why This Is Art It is a gradient of mind, expressed in chromatic descent. * It is a mirror of the viewer’s humility—not instructive, but inviting. * It does not try to explain. It breathes. * It is at once a visual koan and a meditative reset button. Each viewing is a return to zero. A quiet act of resistance against the need to “know.” --- 💎 Collector’s Note Edition of 108: A spiritually symbolic number found in Buddhism, Hinduism, and meditation—tying the work to a deeper meditative cycle. Accessibility: Priced to invite introspective collectors, seekers, and poetic minimalists. Continuity: Sits alongside other syntax crystals and meditative NFTs in the evolving body of conceptual, language-based art by Andrew David Baron. --- 🏷️ Hashtags ``` #TezosNFT #Objkt #TextBasedArt #ZenArt #BeginnerMind #GradientArt #WordplayArt #SyntaxCrystal #DigitalKoan #ContemporaryArt #ConceptualArt #NFTPoetry #Ignoramus
