Description

Humberto had aspirations larger than the small impoverished town of his birth. Wicked smart for his young age, school offered little in the way of education as he already knows more than most of his teachers. Fascinated with American movies about powerful gangsters and ravenous business men, Humberto wears a suit everyday to inspire a life of success and wealth and power. This did not play well in the poor, working-class neighborhood where Humberto resides. Highschool kids, fledgling gang initiates, and neighborhood jerks all enjoy making the ambitious young man the butt of all the jokes and hazing. A key philosophy Humberto picked up from the movies is that you should never get your own hands dirty unless you must. Humberto needed an enforcer. The muscle. A button pusher. Following local folklore, Humberto ventured to a particular crossroads on a particular evening, where he met with a strange man promising to deliver that which he desired for the price of his signature in a very old book that would pledge his soul, to be collected at a later date. The bright young professional renegotiated. In exchange for providing a worthy Left Hand Man, Humberto would use this powerful new associate to deliver six alternate souls in lieu of his own. A handshake deal was sealed. An enforcer was granted. Six souls were procured and delivered well before the deadline. Humberto no longer endures jokes or jabs. He's not teased for his choice attire. Humberto is more respected and feared than any grown person in his town. Locals keep their children in line by warning "Be good, or the Humberto's Left Hand will get you!".
