Digital model of one of five information panels (print on dibond, mounted on wood, QR codes, 118 x 71cm, 2021). Glb, 1.9MB, 2023. ---------------- ⓘ are five information panels placed in the Brialmont park in Antwerp (Belgium) from July through December 2021. Instead of providing information on the park, the panels display ‘infographics’ on The Plot, a former family forest about 100km to the East, that fell victim to climatological and ecological circumstances in the Autumn of 2019. Each panel has its own QR code, leading to five different webpages containing additional information on The Plot and its Nememis, Ips typographus. What is the current Europe-wide bark beetle plague telling us? 'Ips typography' displays a font specimen layout for the Ips typography font. The font was designed by Jeroen 'Joebob' Van der Ham based on my drawings of bark beetle tunnel patterns. The font is approximately 26% readable.
