Description

A void, A dream, A trap Echo's eyes flutter open, but the world around her is wrong. twisting, shifting like a memory half-formed. The air hums with something ancient, something watching. She grips her head as a whisper curls around her mind. "No… This isn’t real… Where am I?" Silence, then a command carved into the air itself "WAKE UP. It’s TIME." The voice is not her own. It is older, colder. A force she cannot see, but one that has always been there. Her pulse pounds as a presence looms closer. A figure with knowing eyes. Nyx speaks, her voice smooth, absolute. "You never left." Echo’s breath catches, the words pressing against something deep inside her. A flicker of fear, of recognition. "I don’t… remember!" she gasps.
