Description

Around 2065BC during the Xia Dynasty, dragons were awoken for the first time in a millennia. Many believed the building of canals, damming and the flooding of the valleys by Yu the Great to control the flooding was to blame for waking these creatures. Nightly, villages and towns in some regions were terrorized by the dragons. Again, the people of China looked to their leader Yu to save them. A campaign was launched to recruit and train an army capable of protecting the people and killing these monstrous murderous creatures. These artworks adorned the walls of temples, inspiring young men to enroll in the specialized training program and take up arms to help defeat the dragons. ----- Each individual element of this artwork was imagined by AI with a final composition created by Nor44.
