Description

Thou, Nature, art my goddess; to thy law My services are bound. This is the beginning of Edmund’s soliloquy from Shakespeare’s King Lear. What follows is very different, but since I first heard it, I've never forgotten it. It usually comes to my mind when I'm in the wild. I don’t follow any religion, it’s hard to explain my beliefs and they change, but Nature is definitely my goddess. All its forces and creations are divine to me. It is my source of inspiration, curiosity and peace. This piece was created using MidJourney with this Shakesperean passage as a prompt and edited on Photoshop.
