Description

In this portrait, my focus was on controlling light and shadow as an integral part of the facial form. My aim was to use a geometric light pattern on the face to create a combination of texture, depth, and a sense of stillness. Light plays the central role in this image—not just as illumination, but as an element that defines the structure of the composition. I worked to adjust the angle of the light and the distance to the subject to achieve a balance between the clarity of shadow lines and the softness of the skin, keeping the face natural and human. For me, this image is an experience of capturing tranquility amidst complexity—a space between order and emotion, between form and soul.
