Description

In this work, ORLAN’s avatar was created from a scan of ORLAN’s body, which was then converted into a 3D model. All moving parts of the 3D model were subsequently articulated in order to replicate the movements of a real human body, and the avatar was then “taught” to juggle with the masks of the Beijing opera. In this work, ORLAN plays her own role.
