Description

On June 26th, a group wallet wash was orchestrated to purchase MALNOURISHED ART on the Ethereum Blockchain, via partybid. In less than 5 hours, the party reached its goal of raising 2.869ETH and then went on to raise a total of 3.1ETH before bidding on the artwork. All participants will have their ETH transferred back to their wallets and will be airdropped a bidder's edition on tezos. This piece serves as commentary on the banal overuse of naked women by male artists in cryptoart. The image of OONA nude on a piano holding a flaccid penis is accompanied by OONA on piano and a poem written by ChatGPT. MALNOURISHED ART, a poem: In art's vast realm, malnourished and forlorn, Where echoes of creativity are torn, Cryptoart, its potential yet restrained, By worn-out motifs that male artists maintained. Behold, the spectacle of ambition grand, Mediocrity adorned, a shallow demand, Male artists, aiming high, yet bound by thread, Naked women, their currency widespread. Let us jest at their audacious facade, Those masters of mediocrity, flawed, Relying on naked bodies for acclaim, Their art, an empty vessel without true aim. For in the vast expanse of artistic sea, new narratives yearn to be set free, Cryptoart's full potential, yet untapped, While hollow motifs keep progress entrapped. So let us mock these ambitions mediocre, And rise above the banal, the joker, For if we yield to echoes of art's history, Cryptoart's true potential remains a mystery.
