More than a static 3D model, it is a living digital ecosystem built from a point cloud that breathes and evolves in real time. Through your webcam and hand movements, you can "touch" the tree's structure in physical space, scattering its light particles and altering the flight of the fireflies. The entire soundscape—from the wind rustling the leaves to the creaking of ancient wood—is not pre-recorded; it is generated through mathematical synthesis in the moment, creating a meditative environment that never repeats exactly the same way. I designed this piece with immersion and accessibility in mind. It features a narrated cinematic tour exploring the tree's story of survival, four climatic seasons that transform the atmosphere, and bilingual support (English/Spanish) with high-contrast visual modes. It is an invitation to connect with the memory and majesty of nature through creative coding. (Note: Hand tracking is processed locally in your browser; no video is ever recorded or transmitted). Más que un modelo 3D estático, es un ecosistema digital vivo construido a partir de una nube de puntos que respira y evoluciona en tiempo real. A través de tu cámara web y el movimiento de tus manos, puedes "tocar" la estructura del árbol en el espacio físico, dispersando sus partículas de luz y alterando el vuelo de las luciérnagas. Todo el paisaje sonoro —desde el viento rozando las hojas hasta el crujir de la madera antigua— no está pregrabado; se genera mediante síntesis matemática en el momento, creando un entorno meditativo que nunca se repite exactamente igual. Diseñé esta pieza pensando en la inmersión y la accesibilidad. Cuenta con un recorrido cinemático narrado que explora la historia de supervivencia del árbol, ciclos de cuatro estaciones climáticas que transforman la atmósfera, y soporte bilingüe (Inglés/Español) con modos de alto contraste visual. Es una invitación a conectar con la memoria y la majestuosidad de la naturaleza a través del código creativo.
