Reflection, by @vanarman, invites us to contemplate the relationship between art and technology, human and machine. Each piece in this collection of 999 is derived from nine paintings created by Van Arman's robot, one arm of which paints expressively while the other draws precisely.
Each of the 999 pieces contains 15 layers, derived from the nine source paintings. Each piece is 100% on chain and generated at mint. With titles that draw allusions to philosophy, religion and the history of technology, the collection invites us all to reflect on the blurry boundaries between tools, technique, creativity and artistic vision.
