@Luminosem1↗Intimate miniature portraits that capture the beauty in every body. They are not constrained to the perfectly-proportioned human figure, they celebrate the beauty of the average, the everyday man or woman.
As miniatures they draw the viewer in to a very personal sphere in which it is possible to see stretch marks formed of rapid growth, scars of living, identifiable fingerprints and individual lashes.
The images are close-focused, captured the merest distance from the subject. They provide a perspective that is usually only the purview of one's lover. 5:32 PM · May 3, 2022·Twitter Web App
At the same time, the viewer is limited to a sharp view of only that closest element; the remainder of the image fades, leaving imagination and wonder.
Captured with a Lytro Gen 1 field of light camera these images are 1080 pixels square. From across the room most are purely abstract. To comprehend and experience them you must first become intimate.
