Rug-Story

Rug design

Carpet is one of the most well-known hand-woven that humans invented thousands of years ago to warm and cover the floors of houses. At first, these rugs were produced with sheep fibers, and gradually man discovered new fibers and created beautiful rugs with his own ingenuity. It seems that the first time Rug as a knothed handmade , was used in Pazyryk Rug. It was discovered by Professor Rudenko in 1949 in the Pazyryk valley of southern Siberia. The patterns in this carpet are taken from the motifs used in the Persepolis Palace, dating back to the Achaemenid period in the fifth and fourth centuries BC. Carpet experts say that this Rug was woven by nomads. Persian Rug is one of the most well-known Iranian art that adorns famous museums, beautiful palaces of world kings and private collections. So that Persian Rugs have been sold to the highest bidder in the big auctions of Christie's and Sotheby's. One of these Rugs belonging to the 17th century was sold for 32 million dollars. Due to ethnic diversity and weaving regions, Persian Rugs have a high diversity in terms of color and pattern.

Welcome to my colorful Rug designs

A garden full of flowers

I graduated in 2010 in the field of carpet design. The style of my designs is inspired by the carpets of Qashqai nomads who were always on the movement in the southwest of Iran. shining colors and minimal motifs that show us a reflection of nature are imprinted on the carpets. Accually this is nature itself from which we receive positive energy.
