TRISTITIA is my 2nd collection on fxhash. I'm putting together a gallery to showcase pieces that came through the minter.

Tristitia is a generative experiment which attempts to understand how the mood and emotion of the piece is affected by several parameters

The first property that governs the output is size. Small outputs create structures which appear to float in space, whereas Large outputs produce almost monolithic entities.

Have a look and see how the size of the piece affects how it makes you feel

The second is number of folds. This governs how often it cycles between light and dark regions. Look at how the affect the organic feel of the output

Third is the symmetry of the piece. Symmetric features can allow the piece to resemble natural lifeforms, while asymmetric features give rise to a greater variety of textures
