A collection of orbitual locationscapes.
This collection is inspired by ‘the Story’ each place, each city has to tell – its history, its culture, its geography, its ecosystem. As I trotted and traveled across the globe through Australia, Asia, and the US, I always looked for the associated deeper meaning, the identity of the place that it is conveying to me. And this collection is my interpretation, my orbitual view of some of these locationscapes.

Winged World
1/1 edition | on FND
'Winged world' explores the eco-scapes of the birds, dwindling under the incessant assault of mankind’s push to adapt the world to itself.
This frame captures a singular bird species encircled within its own diminishing biosphere. As the sphere shrinks so do the no of birds!! The sky, land, and water in the frame highlight the interconnected nature of this ‘ornithosphere’ and calls to mind the significance of all flora, fauna, and the earth as a whole, which has been pushed to the sidelines in the vision for human progress!!!

Many a Aussie river I panned, And dug deep into the Ballarat mine, To get that shiny yellow band, Which for evermore will make you mine!!!
This is special as I shot with my first ever DLSR while I was traveling in Australia and visited the Ballarat Gold Mine, Victoria in 2007. Ballarat was considered the world's richest alluvial goldfield during its peak between 1852 and 1853.
