Tych started as an exploration of the collaboration between human and computer in generative work. Tych is an attempt to bring personality to a generative system, combining fundamental aspects of computer generated art (Grids and high frequency of repetition) and human created art (Inconsistency and random misalignment on each stroke).

Ceramics have been one of the earliest artistic expressions and they are synonymous with Valencia's tradition. As a homage to this heritage, blending together tech and culture; 'Garabatos' is inspired on traditional Valencian ceramics.

Hypnagogic is a series of curated outputs exploring the theme of Hypnagogia; the state between being awake and asleep. This dream state, where the mind translates real world input into abstract perception, is the inspiration behind each selected output.

I started this gallery because I wanted to build a personal collection of AI art in order to understand what exactly AI art was. I wanted to know how it was made, what was being made, and if it was truly art. If you have similar questions this is a good starting place for you. If you already know the answers - awesome! - this should still be a fun overview as I'll walk through the best of what I bought.
